I have just just survived 4 nights in a small tent with 3 children aged 8 5 and 1 all on my own!! It was hard work from the point of view of wanting to have a shower etc, but we managed.
I would have stayed another night had we not run out of money, we ate every meal out which was rather extravagant, but hey, we paid £80 for the tent and £60 for the pitch, when normally we pay over £600 for a week in a static, this way we can still afford to go away again.
The weather was perfect, and we only had one minor mishap with our electrics, our 800w toaster tripped everyone's electric off although the higher wattage kettle and heater were fine
I don't know how we would have coped with bad weather though - I'm sure it wouldn't have been so successfull! So all you ladies wanting to go it alone - try it, its not as hard as you think!!
well done you, i went with my clan last week and only had one day on my own before my oh joined me, i cant imagine doing it for longer i would have gone nuts!
