We have just been on our first camping trip and we had some gym flooring in the garage which I thought we'd take with us. It was great, it covers a 4ft square and meant we could'nt feel the pea  gravel under our groundsheet. We put a picnic blanket over the top of it to make it more cosy. It fits nicely into the car too, you can lay it into the boot or stick it behind the seats for travelling. Just thought I'd share this with you all!

The interlocking is quite strong. The mats are about 1/2" thick or so. Was lovely and warm underfoot too!
