Just back from a couple of days with Montana 6. It rained for 2 days so we had a lot of condensation inside the tent.

Anyone with any ideas on the best way of combatting this and keeping it to a minimum...............

The only way to combat condensation is ventilation! Not that easy when it is pishing it down *rolleyes*

Some on EHU do use a fan heater that gives out dry heat and that helps.

 keep wet clothes in car. turn kettle off when boiled. did you use a gas heater by the way as they give out a lot of water per bottle.adding to condensation

Yup, ventilation. Keep the vents open 24/7 and open doors and windows whenever possible to get a through draught.

Also, not cooking/boiling kettles inside the tent, keeping wet clothes and towels in the car and using a groundsheet if your tent doesn`t have a SIG. Wipe up any puddles asap as well.

I actually did use the electric fan heater, problem was it was too hot inside the tent.
