we left this morning at 9 am to go for our family summer holiday in lincolnshire. we booked this months ago and i have been buying everything possible since then.  woke this morning very excited, got halfway ther and the water pump went on the jeep. had to get the AA out to tow us home.

hubby going to fix it but dosent look like that will be until at least wednesday. phoned the site and told them what happened and asked to re-book for wednesday for 7 nights and they said they would ring back but no reply as yet.

im so p**!!! off, i was really looking forward to this holiday, now im gutted.

I know how you must feel.  The same sort of thing happened to us earlier this year, except it was a head gasket followed by an idiot driving into the back of our caravan.

If I were you, I would ring the site again tomorrow.  Make sure they know how upset you all are.  It doesn't hurt to go for the sympathy vote.

well, got through to camp site and they have managed to get us in for wednesday for 7 nights for an extra 6 pound so thats good.

hubby out front trying to get old water pump off jeep but its proving herder than it should be. still havent got new part so im still a little stressed, hopefully we will get this all sorted by tomorrow or tuesday.

well the jeep is fixed.

i rang the campsite and they said we could get there tomorrow instead of waiting til wednesday.

we are all excited again and cant wait.

lets hope we make it this time
