decided to give camping a go .only camping experience was reading  music festival  for about 15 years,so would people recomend the vango colorado dlx tents eg leakproof?and recomended campsites for canoeing,ive already found 2 near ullswater that look decent cheers

I have no personal experience of the vango colorado dlx, but I do like the vango brand and the tent that you have mentioned should be ok, Vango did have quality issues with the killington range of tents this year but quickly held up their hands and withdrew these tents from sale and offered replacement tents to customers that had problems with these tents

As for campsites with cannoning near by you could do a site search for campsites near Bala north Wales leisurely paddling on bala lake and white water paddling at canolfan Tryweryn national white water centre
