We're going tomorrow - just for the night. Would rather be camping than looking at all the jobs to do around the house. We've had such dreadful weather camping this year that I definitely need to make the most of this sunshine!
Get back out there asap, but if the kids can't wait pitch up in the back garden and if the young uns are young enough to them it will be another adventure, the forecast for the weekend is looking good so do it tomorrow and do a fry-up outside on Sunday morning.
But know what you mean, we just can't get enough of being outdoors.
Have to say I agree with everyone else - plan your next trip, whether that is next week or next year. We booked our Eurotunnel on Sunday night for next July and I felt better straight away! How sad am I???
I come on here, that helps a lot but we also go for 1 or 2 nights to a campsite thats 10 min away from home when ever we can, it dosn't take any time up traveling or money on fuel, and its not expencive so we can fit in a lot more trips in, it seems strange going so near to home but its by a lake and we really feel like where in the lake district, this year we bought a motor home so are going to the local site every other week all through the winter so that should keep me going.
just back from 9 nights in devon really good weather if it wasnt for work may have stayed on a bit longer,so having to make do with searching for sites in cornwall for next year ,hope all leave reviews good or bad depending on circumstances
