What a great post! You've well and truly caught the bug if you're still keen after this year's lousy weather.
Now that 5 in one sofa sounds good to me...
We're adamant no more kit as we really don't want to have to get a trailer or roof box, so we're pretty basic - tent, airbed, stove, table and two folding chairs - but I really like the sound fo that sofa and would love a proper camping kitchen with storage, and we've got room now we've got the Khyam......
Glad you've had such a fab 1st season & thoroughly enjoyed reading your post!
This was our 1st season too tho we only got out 3 times - must do much more next year...
Thought we already had everything we needed but please, tell me more about this sofa & the beds (like where you got them, how much, convince me I really need them etc...)
I'm glad you have had such a great time camping. I started with my 2 boys a couple of years ago. I wish I had taken them when they were little - teenagers now. Never mind, better late than never!
I had to smile with a tinge of sadness at your boxer pup in your gallery. I had to have my boy put down a couple of weeks ago and it broke my heart, but they are such wonderful characters aren't they?!
We too are first year campers, and like everyone else we've bought everthing you can think of. My question 'Where do you store it all?' We are struggling to put it all away for the winter. My hall now accomodates the tent, it makes a good shelf! the sleeping bags are on the floor in my bedroom, our shed is bulging at the seems with the chairs and tables and fridge and cooker and stand and and and.......Where does it end? We'll have to buy a new house just to accomodate the camping gear. We've already planned a tow bar and trailer for next years camping. All said it good fun, we love it
