Do like we did and get the best of both worlds. Unless you have a super duper 30 grand camper the bed won't be very comfy. Before my camper was cremated we used the camper for cooking / watching TV etc etc but slept in the tent which is a 4 berth Sunncamp Sprint. We never had any problems regarding paying extra for pitches. We told the site managers that the camper was our main transport, just like everybody else had a car as theirs.

Yes Mrs Merry...I've got the towing vehicle so now I'm looking for a tin tent. The poles to the tent were in the raging inferno but not the tent itself. I'll still use the tent when the weather looks suitable. Emery paper and soap and water should make the poles right.
