Does anyone use Xmas ropelights for camping - white obviously, not coloured.

Last year I used a 5m ropelight in the awning (well, under the tarp) outside the tent to great effect. This year I've bought a much longer one in the sales & plan to rig it so's it lights the tent interior too.

If it works it'll save a lot of messing around with lamps etc.

Anyone else with novel camping tips?

Iv seent them round the sesonals.There is a star curtin stlye on up my loft do you think i can find it!!!

i use the small led christmas tree lights , strung around the guy pegs outside they work off 2 x aa batterys and last above a week if left on 24/7. just to mark out the guys in the dark. dont think though you would get enough light from a ropelight to read by . unless its a long one
