Hooray, our new tent has arrived.  We've just bought a Sunncamp Evolution 400, 2008 model which I managed to find for £99.99 which I thought was quite a good price.  We did decide to splash out on the fitted carpet as well!  Nice and toasty in the mornings.

I hope the weather soon picks up. We've booked Whitsun weekend away at Cheddar Bridge which we've not been to for 5 years.  We're really looking forward to it.

I've also just booked 4 nights from 14th July at Lower Hyde, Isle of Wight which has cost just £36 for a serviced pitch and another £39 for the ferry which is really good.

Roll on the warmer weather!

Lynne x

The pitch price was so cheap how could we turn it down. The following week it's £124 for the same pitch! And the ferry goes up as well. That's the advantage of not having to go in the summer holidays anymore! Lucky us.

itching to get away in mine too, but don't think I will be going until whit weekend, my new stuff is is piling up around me, and I just wish the weather would warm up a bit. this time 2 years ago we had a heatwave! I went to legoland for my boys birthday and we had to buy swimming trunks for him to go in the waterplay area, we were all sunburnt and peeling afterwards, 23rd april 2006. Whats going on with the weather?

I have no clue whats happening with the weather! I wish it would stop being so miserable!  This will be our second season and we havent had a pleasant trip yet weather wise!  First two we were caked in mud and it rained heavily.  The first of this season we got caught in a snow blizzard and gale force winds! Will our luck ever change????
