I hope the weather is good this coming bank holiday for camping in the south. Anyone hear of any predictions of what the bank holiday may bring?

And please don't say rain.

When i had a glance on the BBC the other day they predicted rain and night frosts

I am hoping it's going to change before then, we have only camped once before in sunny August so not sure what to expect in bad weather, we are prepared though, heaters and plenty of blankets, no EHU though!

Not caring about the weather, going anyway!

We are off to eskdale with a party of 30 - don't care about the rain - taking the waterproofs as usual - it's all about just getting away - bit of rain never hurt anyone.

Shouldn't let it ruin your weekend.

However would be helpful if dry on Monday when packing up tent!

My dad always swears by the weather in New York (usa) is what we will get within the next 7 - 10 days. I thought he'd lost a few more shilling but he seems to be surprisingly correct

Just another tip cheers
