Hi
We have airbeds but they are not very good, also when we woke up in the morning we were cold, is it better to have a campbed or can anyone recommend a good airbed.
Thanks
Debbie

hi debbie, Coleman comfort seems to be the favourite airbed here. Try putting a blanket or picnic rug on top of the airbed.
never had a campbed so couldn't say.
Dozens of threads about them in the search though

My brats sleep on air-beds with old blankets underneath, and no complaints there, I prefer a camp bed, much easier to get on and off. !!!

Love a campbed, we put a self inflator on top, very warm, very comfortable. Would never go back to an airbed.

Coleman double height airbeds are ace. Ours has never gone down, and I'm 17 stone. Us e a battery pump to get it nice and firm (can't believe I just typed that to a complete stranger.) Put an old blanket (cardboard, newspapers?) under it to insulate it from the cold ground, Then a blanket under you, then you will be fine.

I used an campbed for the first time at easter. I was as comfortable as I ever was on an airbed, but had no worries about waking up on the floor! I found it really useful to be able to place cloting bags, shoes etc under the bed so felt as though I had a lot more space...

Camp-bed AND airbed....!
Same here!
Off the ground so no cold air striking up, well not as badly. Bed height so no getting up off the floor and storage space underneath. Love my cosy bed when I'm camping.

Debbie,
I can't comment on the vango, but I say I have been a regular air bed user, and am now looking to buy a camp bed, as its not very comfortable waking up on the floor!!
