Could anybody recommend any places to see around Newquay.

We have two teenage girls 13 - 15

What are they interested in? These are some suggestions but give me an idea what they like and I could come up with some more.

Eden project - near St Austell - absolutely amazing.

Also check out the local surf schools for a leson or two.

Take them for brekkie at Jamie Olivers 15 - head up the coast a bit to watergate bay   http://www.fifteencornwall.co.uk/

We always visit...

Cider farm,Sea life centre,Holywell bay fun park,Newquay zoo and for more travel Bodin Jail-sppok them out alittle lol.Theres loads to do and you will find the campsite will have all the leaflets when you arrive.Heard Flambards is good but never been.If all else fails with them give them some cash and buy them a wet suit for surfing lol

Also The Big Sheep if you fancy that far. Will get lots of oohs and aahs, but also a good few hours entertainment. We also liked the steam railway trip, which took us to a nice cream tea.

Bedruthan Steps is nearby if you like scenery and aren't scared of heights. Lanhydrock is really fascinating if you like looking round late Victorian Country Houses.  Heligan is not too far if you like gardens.

A drive onto Bodmin Moor is always a must for us, the Daphne Du Maurier Museum and a curiousity museum all sited there, very interesting and a nice pint in the historic Jamaica Inn.  All very interesting and educational.

Went last year with 13 / 15 year old. Enjoyed Eden. Surfing great fun. Flambards really aimed at younger kids, but our two quite enjoyed it (got free entry with Tesco Clubcard vouchers). Aquarium in Newquay OK.

Perrranporth....loads of surf type shops, and a bar on the beach, which serves great snacks!

The castle at Tintagel is good. We went on a misty autumn day - very eerie!

One I do think is over-rated as advertised as the best day out of the week is Crealy's.
