We started out with a double airbed and after just one night of "sea-sickness" I went for an Airic. Loved it so much I have just treated Mrs Trifecta to one!

They are not cheap but they are comfortable, light, warm and very easy to use.

Vote for Airic.

I've been down this avenue many times before. Originally ordered 3 coleman double airbeds and within 1 year they are leaking, not to mention having to keep blowing them up. Looked at airic, but the fat boy ones are about £35-40.00 ea. So for 5 i'd be at £175.00.

Under equipment forum, theres a recent post about York exercise mat which are selling at argos for £15.00. They are 5cm thick, fold away, comfortable and no air / leaks. Even the airic comes with a patch set, just for leaks.

I was very cynical about these mats, but they are great.

I know i'm in the minority, we have had many problems with them. We have had 2 Coleman comfort doubles and then tried 2 singles. We have given up and gone for camp beds this year!!.

I'm with you. I also had huge probs with the coleman comforts and even  when i did get one that didn't leak I found it so cold. Not so much of a problem if you can carry extra blankets and thinks to insulate yourself. I don;t have the room though.

I also hate the way if any airbed leaks you are left with no comfort at all. At least if my thermarest should spring a leak it will still be comfy and warm. They also have a lifetime warranty anyway so I didn't mind the premium cost.

Sleep is too important to skimp on.
