How about finding a nice, friendly pub (preferably with an open fire!) and spending the evening there. Doesn't matter if you don't do alcohol - you can always drink pop/coffee/tee. Then straight to bed when you get back to the site. (I'd go in my pyjamas if I had the nerve!!)
