After checking several forecast and some saying high winds ( especially accuweather), Oh I am so wishing I had got round to ordering the extra delta pegs I needed for my new tent!
I have got 10 I think, so hope the wind isnt as strong as they are saying, and that they will do the job!
Will put ordering the extra pegs as the first thing to do when I get back!

We were going through our camping gear tonight, ready for two nights camping - Sat and Sun - and as hubby got out our box of Delta's I breathed a sigh of relief as I think we're going to need them I'm sure you'll be fine with ten, we've only got 15 and I'm confident!

What a lovely day! Louise has her pegs and I had a great time driving around sunny Cornwall.
The wind is picking up here though and the clouds were looking rather dark and heavy when driving back to Plymouth. I think we'll have a little action weather-wise tonight.

10 Deltas should be enough for most tents. Just use them for the corner guys and the rest around the bottom of the tent wherever you think may be stress points.
Thank you sooooo.. much for the service you provided last week,dont know any one else that would have given such a quality and personal service, we went on the Friday tea time and we survived the wind, and ended up with 6 nights (Hooray!), on the coast!!!
The pegs just dont budge, the site we wnt to is very sandy, and these are the only pegs that dont move or become buried!

I have a Vermont L and was planning on using stainless steel deltas on the guy ropes. Is that the correct usage or should I also use some on the tent base anchoring points too?
