How fed up am I with rain! Looks like our first family camping trip to the New Forest on Tuesday is destined to be a bit of a wash out - better take the wellies! Any tips for wet weather camping with kids? (4 and 7). I am hoping they will be overcome by the spirit of adventure and won't mind being a bit soggy round the edges! Oh, and our tent is an inner pitch first, so that makes life even more exciting. Encouragement needed please, I don't want to bottle it now after all the planning, plus the boys are so excited!
Hope everyone else finds a dry spot between the clouds!

I would suggest wellies and overtrousers for the kids, that way you will not be changing clothes every five minutes!!! Kids really do not seem to mind the rain that much. Take some games and paper/crayons etc in case you are sat in for a while.
You never now the weather might pick up.
