regarding ehu, we had the cable from a caravan which had two round plugs (one to hook into caravan and the other into power). We purchased another lead with one round plug to hook into EHU lead and then the normal 3 pin plug socket on the other end, you could bring extension lead or get someone to connect the two. Our lead cost about 7 euro so as everything is so expensive here in the Emerald Isle it will probable cost £3-£4 in UK.
I have just bought a ehu from this site just realised it says its for a caravan yet its posted under thwe camping section will it not be any good for a tent?
I'm not bothered about out trailer on a camping site.
I'm more bothered when it was on our drive at home. We have a large trailer (Erde 142) and it use to be stored on our front drive with no wheels - but some bu**er tried to knick off with it once as it had moved about a foot away from the bricks it was standing on. I hope the bu**er got a hernia trying to pick it up!! As we only use it once a year we now dismantle it and drag it around our back garden - if anyone tried to get it from our garden then it would be of no use as it has no axel, no towing hitch, and no reinfoced strips - basically all that is left on show is a big metal box !
I'm lucky enough to have a garage to store mine in but don't trust anyone if they see see something lying about. Someone I know has apost cemented on his drive with a towball on it. His trailer is fixed to that and locked on it too

just buy a cable with EHU plug on one end and 3pin socket on the other. It will cost well under £10 and should be available in any decent hardware
