does anybody know if the haartford canopy extension will fit on the side of an oregon 5?. It doesnt have to be a perfect fit, but just offer good shelter?

looking at both the outwell side extension i think you will be hard pushed to even have it fit a little bit, Your door is 1.40m but the extension is 2.00m at the back where it fits the tent.  so you would have an over hang of 0.30m on either side. The side canopy itself is marketed at being able to fit all of the outwell tunnel tents.

thanks rachael for that reply, i hadn't considered that. do you think it would fit over the front door in that case?

the front door on your tent is 3.00m at the bottom and 2.10m in height so the hartford extension would not fit as it is only 2.00m where it joins the tent. The nearest i have found for your tent are belowOutwell Nebraska Extension 2008 model online - World of Camping   3.05m in width x 2.05 in height

The only other thing you could maybe get if you didnt want to risk a canopy or extension is one of these with wind breaks down the sides.

you could always get the canopy that fits all outweels which could be used on the side of the tent.
