You cant walk on the worktops ,in the beds ,on the sofa can you ?!?
Oh I get you now...your tent is exclusively floor space....no beds...nothing to sleep on...no chairs..nothing to sit on...nothing to cook on. No table...nothing to eat from. No storage...in fact, nothing at all in your tent !!
Skatty, I know a lot of what you say is tongue in cheek but I'm not so sure about some of the others. I've read this thread and although I know a lot of the people who have posted, the thread has come across as anti-caravan. People use what ever suits them best - for whatever reason, be it health, wealth, ease or any or the 101 possible reasons. Lets put an end to all these snide comments, even if in jest, as 'outsiders' don't get a favourable impression of the camping thinking it is devisive where as we all know in practice we all get on - regardless of what unit we choose.

I dont think anyone is reallt anti caravan .I think most are just playing to my 'sense of humour ' about 'sheds' There be a small element that are anti absolutely anything just so long as it causes an argument but thankfuly they are in the minority ;)
would everyone just lighten up for heaven's sake! caravans are good, tents are great, hell if it was p**sing it down with rain i would be happy with a beach tent then you could all point and laugh at me whilst realising and appreciating the merits of your own unit!
