We planned to go camping this weekend, but didn't want to book too early in case we jinxed the weather - now I can't find a camp site with space for Friday and Saturday night LOL - have called about 12 sites so far!!

For a weekend trip, just a couple of days. For a week or two, that takes a little planning, so, a month or so.

I booked our August 2 week holiday back in January as the site is always booked up months in advance  I book bank holiday weekends months in advance too but other in between weekends are booked up probably a month in advance. I like to plan ahead  pity I cant plan the weather ahead too

We had the same problem last week Katybean. Only decided Wednesday that we were going and spent all day trying to find somewhere. Got sorted in the end and had a great time.

We are booked for Bruce`s Cave this weekend, forecast is dreadful , but we are still going as we are meeting friends from UKCS  We will worry about drying the Vermont out when we get back.
