Hi!
We have a large tarp (borrowed permanently from my mum!) that has at least a metre extra to the tent size on all sides. Usually it's just laid flat and overspill tucked underneath but when rain starts, I pull it up inside the tent to make (as has been already mentioned) a tub. I've used shoes, bags and whatever is around to rest the sides of the tarp on. We've had the occassional small puddle but as the kids are also involved in the fortification of the tent, it's actually not a chore to do it!
