If I felt I needed an alarm then I wouldn't go camping - we have never had anything taken and I would leave anything valuable in the car - I even leave my beer outside in the fire bucket to keep cool and have never lost a beer either!  We campers look out for each other and are an honest lot.

The only thing that i'd be worried about losing is the tent itself ie: vandalism and no alarm would look out for that. Anything left inside the tent can be replaced relatively cheaply because like others have said, I put valuables in the car.

Oh Daggers that's the best yet! I needed a good laugh. Now I know the monty 6 comes with an ADT alarm I'm definitely going to take my diablo back for a refund LOL!!!!!!   45
