Just back from the lakes, where it rained, again! and now have our tent up in the front garden to dry out, only thing is, it's raining here too, any way I can pack it away without it going moldy?
No, just leave it up until the rain stops. It will start going mouldy in the bag after one or two days.
make sure it is completely dry, air it over the stair banister if you have one , or just spread it out all over the floor, and keep turning it until all the tent is fully dry.
Just come back from w/e in yorkshire and most of the rooms in the house have bits of tent drying in them. We picked this weekend to buy and try the extension for the monty. So it's drying out too. But it's all been worth it.
Put the wet tent in the bath and keep turning it regularly. Most of the water will drain out of it so it will not take long to dry when you can erect it outside.
When we have a wet tent we drape itover the bannister rail at the top of the stair and let it hang there for acouple of days repositioning it each evening. Works fine forour Monty6

.when my tent is wet i lay it out up in the attic to dry...it gets nice and warm up there even if its raining outside and it can be left for a while without being in the way

We are in the same boat, every time the sun comes out i get my hopes up that it will dry, then another blasted rain cloud comes over!!! at this rate it is going to be up all week.
