Do we have anyone who is a long range weather forecaster?

Can't bear the thought of 3 weeks under canvas this summer if this crappy weather continues.

Go on, make my day - or break my heart!

Last year the rain didnt really stop till August - sorry

We have a week at end of July and last 2 weeks of August in Cornwall.

I hate the thought of being cold and damp and having to spend a fortune doing all the indoor touristy things.

We're booked on a site which is within walking distance of two fabulous beaches (Crantock and PollyJoke) so don't want to be stuck in my tent playing Ludo trying to keep the damp out of my (increasingly) ageing bones!!

Temperature

We continue to predict an enhanced chance of more frequent cloudy and cool spells compared to recent summers prior to 2007. Nevertheless, mean temperatures are more likely to be above the 1971-2000 average.

Rainfall

Our forecasting methods favour above-average or near-average rainfall for the remainder of the summer period.

The grass on your pitch will be lush & green, which is nicer than yellow & solid. Don't worry its only showers - it'll will have stopped raining before you've got the crib board out.

www.theweatheroutlook.com gives 16 day forecasts by postcode and by city.

Its worth a try, but please rememember that any forecast is can only possibly be 40-50% accurate more that 5 days in the future, so its a guide only,
