I have a Thermarest Basecamp self inflating mattress, but have few back problems. I know I am not likely to get a better self-inflating mattress, and I am no lover of inflatable air mattresses (lilo type).
i wondered if a camping bed might be a good bet after having seen one by Outwell recently.
Space is no problem for me - I have an Outwell Arizona which I can stand up in, for myself most trips.
