realy sorry to hear about your tent,we too have the xxl and so far fingers crossed it hasnt leaked.we have used ours twice and only once had rain.i would try and contact outwell and ask them there advice or the supplyer that you got it from.

We used out hartford xxl for the first time in May, we went to wales and had really strong winds and some times the rain hammered down, it was wet nearly all week.

We never had any problems, I agree with Amabovered get in contact with your supplier or contact outwell direct.
