Well the new tent arrives tomorrow and we have booked its maiden trip for next weekend (fri & sat) at the Vale of Pickering site.
Only problem is getting in some time to have a practice run at putting it up. As the weekend looks like a washout and Monday we are going to Lowther for a few days in my Aunts static.
(after just checking the bbc weather they have now changed Sunday to sunny so heres hoping)

Hope all goes well for your trip. We're making our first trip supposedly tomorrow & Sat night but it's forecast for rain and strong winds . Maybe my hubby should get some more practice to see if the tent stays up in fair weather, never mind storms .
I like your mantra ^^ - I've been repeating that to myself as well!! lol

Peg the corners of the footprint down. Lay the tent over it, peg the corners of the tent, so they cover the footprint. Make sure there is no footprint visible around the edges of the tent, or rain will run in between footprint and sig causing a puddle between the 2. ------------- Debbie
