We have been looking for a campsite book. What we want is some thing that obviously tells all about the site but also gives information on the area and attractions, the ones we have seen so far are either aimed at entertaining children or just give info on sites

Does any one have one they can reccomend..thank you Aaron & Mandy

We have the AA one for France but TBH you can't beat the Campsite search on here. Good, recent reviews by members of this site- what more could you ask?

I agree you can't beat this site, but we don't take the computer with us when travelling and it would be nice to have a book rather than bits of printed paper

I bought a book today for exactly same reason, needed a hard copy just when I'm away from the PC. It looks OK and gives some area information for UK sites only.

It's titled 'Britain's Camping, Caravan & Holiday parks' ISBN 978-0-7095-8436-0.

i also used Cades, until we became members of the ccc club, then used the big campsite books. but then discovered this site by accident. dont use anything else now.
