Hi All

Bought a Vango Vista 800 last week from Go Outdoors for £149, great price, not used the tent yet and not had it out.

My mate informed me its now gone down to £99 so i rang them today and asked them for the extra discount and they said so long as it asn't been used they will give me £50 back, what a great store and what a great price, £99 for an 8 man tent, what a bargain !!

great price for that tent shame it is not available online at that price

also sombody on this forum said they had an outwell monty 6 for £199.00 in the sale today

Glad somebody has had great service!  They didn't send most of my order (despite it saying in stock on the website when I ordered) and I had to return a faulty table to them 4 weeks ago and still not had a replacement or refund - we're going on holiday this weekend... I have phoned them at least 4 times and just keep getting told that they're really busy.

Sorry to hear you've had problems, my nearest store is very close to work so i just went tonite in person, had no trouble getting £50 knocked of, even though i bought on-line, if you have a local store close enough maybe you could go down and i'm sure they'll be more than willing to replace your stuff there and then.

Unfortunately my "local" store is over 70 miles away - hence the online ordering.  I'm sure it will be sorted out in time, they're always polite when I phone them and it's clear they're under pressure due to the volume of stuff they're selling at the moment BUT I want my table in time for my holiday!!!!!  I'll phone them again tomorrow and see if they've got another update for me - thing is they've had the faulty table for 4 weeks now...
