my husband puts two pieces of bread on at once and turns them alternately. Saves waiting for your second slice of hot buttered toast :)
Also good for croissants and crumpets.
the toaster followed by the crumpets ...

Ok i have exagerated a bit, but probably getting nearer that figure every week that passes.
I think I heard it years ago as a joke somewhere probably half a crown then!

In reply, our mini oven/grill is from Wilkinsons cost £14.99, used on previous hols this year. Does jacket pots, pizza, chicken drumsticks etc doesn't take any longer than a normal oven.

use EHU & take toaster or one of the small grills that Wilkinsons & a few other places have on offer they are great , plus no running out of gas etc------------- Davy

We've used one of these for years. The only problem is that the gauze burns out eventually. We use one for toast, potato cakes, crumpets and tea cakes.
P.S. The bread should go on the top of the bars, not on the gauze.
