Seeing as we're hearing so many stories of shocking customer service, I just wanted to tell everyone about some superb customer service that we have received from JR Leisure in Leicester.
When we returned from our wet'n'windy summer holiday in Devon, we had suffered some minor damage to our tent inner. When we got back, I phoned JR (where we bought it from) but didn't expect much knowing that Vango no longer make the Aspen. However, JR told me that they still had some canvas' for the Aspen (inner and outer tents) and would be happy to exchange my old (damaged) one for a new one ! ! Alternatively, they said that they were happy to exchange the tent for the new upgraded model, the Zambezi.
After looking at various reviews of the tent (including on here), we decided to stick with the Aspen so went over and swapped out canvas for a brand new, 'in the box' set of inner and outer.
We also had great customer service from JRleisure we had the same yesterday from the Manchester branch,i recommend people use them as they are very helpful.
We bought our Khyam from them earlier in the year and when the bedroom pole split first time out they organised a replacement very quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
