Just been to Primark!! Load and Loads of Fleece Blankets all sorts of colours £ 2-00 each.

Have stocked up on another 3. The ones already have washed and dried like a dream. Well worth it

r they under blankets that go over the mattress?

We have these blankets and they are just the right size to have on top inside your sleeping bag for some extra warmth - nice and cosy. Great value too - have washed a number of times and tumble dried and they are still really soft.

We use these all the time, we put one under the sleeping bag and in very cold weather we wrap the kids in one as we slide them into their bags. Last Easter we had ice on the outside of the tent but kids were toasty warm. they wash quickly and dry really easily. you cant buy fleece fabric cheaper than that.

I may have to go to the Tax Office later, so will make a detour via Primark. 

I use fleece blankets inside the sleeping bag if it is really cold, and they are easy to whip out if ot gets too warm.   On top of the sleeping bag for extra warmth. 
I will sit with one wrapped around me 'grandad' style when sitting out/ in the tent of an evening.
A couple of ours that the kids use are actually cot blankets, and another couple pet blankets.

Definately a fan of fleece blankets.
