Hi everyone, we have just returned from a great bank holiday camp, weather was kind so made it even better. But when putting tent up, I noticed black mould spots on zip fabric and some on the fly too, it isnt canvas. It obviously wasn't completely dry 6 days previously  Has anyone got any ideas to remove it?

I did try to use anti bac wipes that I had to hand, did nt do much though. Does mould spread? Will we find it has grown and got nasty over the winter store? We will be using it at least two more times before it is put away for a few months so could treat it next time it's up, if there is anything we can use.

Any tips would be appreciated ( but not the obvious make sure tent is 100 % dry when packing up !- We 've learned the hard way on that one !)

Thanks everyone x x

you need to be carefull now that it does not spread as mold is a living organism and it can spread if not dealt with

you can use milton fluid in weak solution to kill the mold, apply with a sponge to the affected area and after 30 minutes rinse off with clean water

I dont know any way of removing the mould spots but the above should stop them spreading
