Before I rush and repair a hole I have in my Vermont window can anyone advise me how best to repair it. The hole is half the size of a little finger nail. We have just come back from a weekends camping and no rain came in through it but I think a repair would ensure the hole didn't get any bigger. Any advice anyone?

Tenacious Tape, on both sides. See-through, practically invisible in use and will stick for years.

Thanks Val for the reply to this and my other question. I have checked out the link and will be buying some of the tape. Thanks for your help.

I'd go for SeamGrip. Put tape on one side and a thick coat of SeamGrip on the other. Once the SeamGrip has set take the tape of and put another coat of SeamGrip in its place. Magic stuff - plenty of uses and sticks like the proverbial to a shovel!! We had a tear between the window and the fabric. We sewed it up and covered with SeamGrip and it really was strong.
