Well despite the weather we are going to Homestead Pk, Wokey Hole for four days of glorious camping, tried ringing them to check field was not flooded but got an answer phone lol probably out damming the stream that runs through the camp site, we must be mad, no packing the gear away for us though we are determined to enjoy ourselves and hopefully camp right through the winter.

Hi, I hate to put a 'dampener' (excuse the pun) on this thread, however, I live not far away and it's raining heavily at the moment and has been for about 3 days on and off.

I would really check before you go....Keep tryng their number or leave them a message!

I do think it was a bit excessive taking the cello in the canoe and making the fellas splash around in the flood!!!

Thanks for your good wishes and wanings.

We have just got home having had a superb time with the lovely people of Somerset despite the fact that the only day it did not rain was today. Will post a review of the site and what we did tomorrow as Im totaly bushed and off to bed, but just wanted to say thanks for the feed back.
