Thanks to Gary and Keely for all your help and advice.  You have made us look in to these tents a bit more and I think waiting a year will be our best option.  Next year we will hopefully have a bigger car and older kids, I hadn't realised what the difference in pack size would make and also the extra time required to put this style of tent up.  Our little ones are both under 4 at the mo so don't sit still very long the monty is great as hubby can put it up by himself if required.
