Wellies if these run of summers continue!
What about a solar powered mobile phone charger?
Or start a trend for little triangle flag pennants like popular in the seventies, great along the porch guy rope!

Get yourself to the local camping shop - it seems to work for me. Every time I go in I come out with a load of stuff I never realised i needed!------------- Debbie

I'm struggling as well...
The kids asked what i wanted for mothers day and I can't think of nuffin - obviously i'm not a chocolate, flowers perfume type of person.
I usually end up with a rechargable drill or router or summat....!
The only thing i can think off is a storage bag for the 15" flat screen tv to protect it a bit
And an aerial...
ooh and......I'm sure there's loads really

aerials are cruddy - get a satellite system - travel ones from maplins are around £100 and the ones from B&Q for freeview start at £40! (hoever these are normal voltage and considerably larger than the travel version from Maplins).

The only thing I can think of to get this year is a clothes rail, to hang wet coats up rather than have them draped over backs of chairs .------------- Debbie

Got the wellies, if I have got EHU, then surely i wont need a solar charger, and I think i can live without the little flags for now!!!
Can definatley live without a £125 microwave!
Already got the trailer! However I do like the idea of the roofbag things that I have seen talked about on here, but I dont think there is much chance of convincing OH!!!
Thanks for the ideas. I am sure though when I visit the shops in the coming weeks I will find things to buy that I definatley dont need!

Ah, now have you got a low wattage kettle to use on your EHU?
I never seem to have any trouble buying stuff off ebay or from camping shops which I didn't know I wanted

OK,
Well I went to Winfields today (Great)
I only went for a look round, thinking about a little kettle for my new Coleman stove, just enough for one person (I actually typed MUG but thought better of it)
We now have a new little and a new large kettle an Outwell self inflating pillow and a low level roll up ali. table for my recent low level chair.
I nearly got a Vango Dart quick pitch tent, but I noticed the storm clouds brewing over my wlfes head.
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.

I really really don't need anything soooo I've started replacing all the most important bits if kit with better ones. All the things that i bought cheap when i started up 3 seasons ago to get me started are being replaced 1 at a time by the better versions that i couldn't afford then (and in pink if i can get it to match my tent)
Another idea i've had is to sort all my camping wardrobe out ready....check the soap bags....check the essential food stuff box.......top up my spare battery supply......charge up anything re-chargeable
First camp 10 bedtimes!!!!
