spent years doing the 2 weeks, spain/turkey/greece/italy/etc. weather mostly boiling. but I don't do boiling, or sat on a beach for hours plastered in oil frying like a chip!

although my DW loves it and takes hols now with her mates to the sunny parts,she saw I was unhappy and being a bit of a outdoor type we took the camping option.

she really gets as much or even more pleasure from our trips than I do, and now we have cracked the pitching and bitching bit from me! finds it so relaxing.

we started with a cheap tent and set up! but found that yes once you know your into camping then buy better. saying that the tent we have now is the last years aldi one and for the money it's brill. and I don't care it's an "aldi" it's stood up to thunder storms, high winds, and heavy rains,takes us 40 min's from out the bag to bed pods set up, lots of space and cost £80 then we don't have a full sown in G/S or even a flap to put our EHU cable through, so you don't need the "in thing look at my brand tent and spending £200/500. just go and enjoy. I LOVE MY ALDI
