We have a queen size double height airbed with a built in electric pump which is fine to use at home but we dont want to get EHU but we do want to take our comfy bed, we have a manual air pump which we use on kids beds and is fine but we tried it the other day on our bigger bed and after 10 mins we still wasnt getting anywhere and i was kn*ckered, so my question is will a battery operated pump be upto the job or a rechargable pump any one used one on such a bed???
We have one of these too and our next camping trip is non ehu. We have tried a hand pump and the one that you can run off the car cigarette lighter and both worked well..
Have you checked that you have the correct size nozzle and that you have switched to air in?
------------- If you see a family struggling to put up the tent then it must be us!
We have a rechargeable pump. It is great! You can leave the pump doing all the work whilst you get on with something else. It takes about 5 mins or so for our double. It is good to help with deflation too. Very easy to use, the best camping gadget I've bought for ages.
