Myself and my boyfriend are new to camping. We borrowed a tent last year and got out once in October which was fun if not a bit wet and cold lol.

We have most of the equipment we need so about ready to go (i tihnk lol).

I am sooooo excited and are planning a few trips during the year.
sometime soon - one night at local campsite to try tent out.
then
july - malton
august - richmond
and i want to do the lake district at some point too.

i have picked some tips up off of here but if there is anything that you can give some newbies it would be great thankyou

make sure you invest in a bucketandchuckit, or a porta loo if you are posh. We had a Khampa Khazi and it did the job and was a great price. 

 

It will make your nights so much comfier and you won't have to watch your alcohol intake. No more trips to the loo in the rain at 3am!

i think i need to still invest in a bucket lol and a cooking stand thing. we found it quite awkard last time having it on the floor and the table we have didnt seem practical to have it on.

BF has already had enough of me wittering that i want to go camping nowwwwww hehe
