It'll be fine - you definitely won't want another tarp under the groundsheet. Take the advice of those above and trust in your Cabanon - it won't let you dowm!

Enjoy!

Agree with everyone else on here that a PVC groundsheet will be fine without a tarp under it. The only extra item I would recommend, if it does rain heavily, is a lattice type doormat (mat with holes) which will protect the doorway from becoming a mud-bath.

I agree. We were fine last year during 12 consecutive days of rain with a footprint that sat on the flaps of the tent.

I also saw some people using lattice doormats that turned out to be plastic sheets put between players of brick or stone when they were delivered, they said they were just as good, but free!

We use a reversible, washable, cotton bathmat inside the door to soak up any rain that gets in as we go in and out.

We use a couple of these to make warm patches within the tent (outside the sleeping inner, by the loo etc), the Ikea non plastic backed ones are lovely and just go in the wash after every trip.

With sites(ie Whitemead) that insist on a breathable ground sheet in the living area, you cant put a tarp etc down, how do you get around that?
