General question, am new to the camping world......as a general rule, do camp sites charge just per pitch or based on size of tent as no sites I've looked at so far really specify?

Hi and welcome .
All sites vary.

Some charge a flat rate per pitch and all occupants regardless if its a 2man or 8man tent .

Some have a list , x amount for tent including 2 people and so much extra per night for each extra adult/child/dog /second car/pup tent etc .

Some have seperate prices if only using a small 2 man backpaking type tent.

Thankyou for the help.....just purchased a 9 berth Lichfield tent for the whole family to use, but at times may on be a couple of people use at a time. So guess its just trial sites and see.
