Buy a Ford Galaxy - they're flipping huge! I've got a Honda Stream which I thought was big but we only just managed to squeeze in everything for our trip last weekend (and we've got a roof bag).

Our friends who went with us have exactly the same tent and only slightly less kit than us and they fitted everything into their Galaxy (without a roof bag) and with space to spare. Very impressive!!
