Hello and welcome.
As already mentioned, make sure you have neough to keep you wamr at night and you'll be fine.
I've not yet camped in Yorkshire but I will be making a booking for August at Studfold Farm and have been close to booking at High Yedmandale Farm. I've done a lot of research on both places and they seem to be very good.
Hi Former Scout,
I have booked at 4 night stay with hook up this August at Yedmandale Farm. I booked in January to make sure I got a hook up etc. The site sounds wonderful. Good replies from Isobel the owner and no deposit required until you get there - providing you let them know if you can't make it. I can't wait.

It's good to know that my conclusions are shared by others; gives one a sense of security. I look forward to your review. But we don't use EHU.
The site ticked many boxes for us. But I was planning a joint camp with friends who live in North Wales and, with young kids, it was just a little too far away for them.
Is Yedmandale club members only?..just checked out the link and it sounds lovely! I have a booking form in the post for studfold farm! Must be looking for the same qualities in a site!

We must be!! Loud, raucous sites in artificial surroundings, near to town centres and where everyone is encouraged, if not required, to stay up late playing loud music, getting drunk and using foul language! What could be better?
Not!
We're just back from two nights at Three Rivers. Although, thanks to the delightful weather on Saturday afternoon, we didn't get as much of the camping stuff sorted as we'd planned, managed to get a reasonable amount done this morning when we were packing up. Other than things like food and clothes and the boats which will go in the trailer, we are now more or less ready for when we go away in two weeks time.
It was a nice break, even if we were forced to spend alot of time inside.
We have just got back from our first camping trip of the year in our new tent. We went to Howgill Lodge. It was absolutely beautiful but was soooo cold on the first night. So, we went out to a fabric shop in Skipton and bought three metres of thick fleecy fabric and put it around our mattress and under the sheet... made it much warmer and snugglier.
We had a fab trip though and can't wait to go away again in a couple of weeks :)
