I have finally got my new tent, an Outwell Oregon 5. It is exactly what we needed, a simple to erect,spacious weekend tent. We put it up in less than 20 mins for the first time in the garden this afternoon, and managed to pack it away in about the same time and it fitted into the bag!! its just for OH and me, so we can get away for that occassional weekend on our own. Thanks to everyone who has left tent reviews as we really found these useful when trying to make up our mind as to which tent to get.

The picnic rugs came from Wilkinsons. They are very thick and quilted, so I am hoping they will be warm too.They cost £7 .

The cat is a Red Burmese. He loved the tent, it was his best day ever. Because it was not pegged or guyed down properly he was able to get underneth, so he spent ages dashing about under the ground sheet like a mole.

We are going to Wareham next Bank Holiday to try the tent out, we can't wait. The cats will have to stay to home.

Looks lovely! I just love seeing tent pics! I also love the picnic mats but if I buy any more OH might think about leaving me out of the car to fit them in instead  !
