Oh Yes,

I use my Kelly Kettle all the time, not only when camping. It's a bit of fun.  Days out instead of a vacuum flask etc etc. It gives me something to do other than relax. I carry a supply of thin sticks down the middle of the chimney so it's ready to go when ever I want hot water. I also carry with it, a few sheets of kitchen roll and a small bottle of meths to start it off. I just screw a few sheets into balls and pour on a little meths. gets it going no problem.

Never leave home without one.

Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.

They are fab and you'd be surprised how little you need to get them going..anything you have to hand...a few receipts, twigs, seaweed, pinecones etc.

Only downside is you smell like a bonfire and have sooty paws.

I bought one for my Dad as they're especially appealing to men....it's the, 'me big strong man, me build fire' syndrome......in the same way that man used to club a woman over the back of her head and drag her back to his cave.....simpler times.

Hi all

Most of the time when i'm walking I take a 1963 Swedish Army Trangia Billy Can stove that runs on meths & Greenheat Organic Gel Ethanol Satchets.  It really does work a treat... Great bit of kit

Carrying on the Swedish theme this is similar to the Kelly kettle but , if you can get one at this price, a lot cheaper....trouble is these always seem to be out of stock and Ebay had some at about £15.00 which seemed a bit steep after seeing this website price.

If anyone sees any this cheap please let me know!

Also not forgetting how us manly men like to take over the BBQ as well.
