Has anyone camped here? http://www.run-cottage.co.uk/aboutus.html

The reason I ask is because I was wondering what the "2 acre dog exercise area" is like - i.e. is it FULLY fenced off so that a dog can't get out?

We look after Hearing Dogs at weekends and we're not allowed to let them off their leads while they are in training (unless they are in a safe, enclosed area from which escape is impossible i.e. back garden basically. Unfortunately our own back garden is pretty small). However it would be FAB if that 2 acre exercise area was fully fenced off - we would love to let our current dog off her lead for a good run about with us.

We are thinking of taking her for 1 night this weekend as a dry run for our summer hols.

From what I can remember - the area is seperate to the camping field, but I could not say that it was definitely completely enclosed by fences (we don't have a dog, so don't always notice these things).  It was a very pretty walk through the trees in a little meadow.  Not much help really am I?

It is a very nice campsite, with helpful owners and only 10mins walk from the pub (on the road for some of the way)
