We've just had our first family camping trip and absolutely loved it. Of course, the good weather does help but we had a great time at a lovely site (will be leaving a review shortly) and can't wait to book our next trip.

Thanks for all the tips on tent size and camping with a toddler. The little one took a while to get to sleep because of the general noise and we spent much of the first day chasing after him but that's to be expected at his age. Thankfully we met up with a friend who helped to entertain him while we got the tent pitched and he fell asleep when it was time to pack up (in the pouring rain).

Hope everyone else who got away this weekend had as good a time as we did.

Really pleased you had a great time, however must say your DS seems to be getting into the swing of things far too young (falling asleep when the packing up needs to be done) act now don't let it become a habit !
