Hi first time camping with wife and kid's only brought a small tent try camping before we get a bigger one .ive booked at a park resort and have a standard pitch but i have a three person tent.on a 6mx6m pitch do u think they will let me put a small kids tent infront of ours ? we have not got a clue and both think we are going to look pratt's being as every one is talking about camping these days we thought we would join the fun also we are looking for a moden trendy big tent for future holidays ie south of france
Go for it you will prob love it! I would ring the site and ask them about pitching 2 small tents on the same pitch, as some sites charge extra and some don't.
We've all been first timers, Each camp visit you learn something new and if you love it you'll soon be hooked to this web site.
You will have to check with the camp site, some will charge extra, some won't. You won't look like pratt's at all. You'll find people are very approachable, friendly and happy to help if you need it.
A little tip before you start thinking about taking your camping gear to South of France, check out companies such as EuroCamp, Eurosites, Canvas Holidays, for a package including ferry crossing and use of a sited tent. It is a few years (OK a lot of years) since I used these companies for camping in France, but when my kids were young, we were able to get 3 week holidays for the price of 2 weeks in early September for less than the cost of booking a ferry crossing and paying campsite fees if we were to take our own gear.
